A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Alison. I initially trained as an artist in 3D Design at the University of Wolverhampton. After finishing my degree I felt myself drawn to help young people realise their potential and worked firstly in schools, with Young Carers and at the local Youth Centre and then moved on to supporting young people with complex needs in an educational setting. I now work as a carer for the elderly and in my current role we support our clients in a person-centred and holistic way. I have noticed that there has been a substantial fall in the amount of workers in the care industry and needs can be quite broad. The purpose of this service is to help people of any age maintain their home by offering to help with small jobs that they find too difficult to do themselves. I am based in Carterton and so can easily be contacted by people in Brize Norton and surrounding villages as far as Witney.
